Allen A Thomas

Named as the best teacher in the Republic of Liberia in 2023, Allen A. Thomas is a professional educator with vast experience as a school administrator and classroom teacher in Tappita City, Nimba County, Liberia. As founder of the "Best Teacher Initiative," he is passionate about inspiring other educators through training that helps them adapt educational best practices and innovations with special emphasis on rural areas that are largely neglected and least accessible. Allen is also a 2024 alumni of the prestigious Mandela Washington Fellowship. He studied the Public Management Track at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. Allen is currently studying for his master's degree in Instruction and Learning at the Abilene Christian University in Texas.
